Submetering and Point of Use
Most commonly used type of system for measuring individual water consumption. Water submeters allow measurement of 100% of the water consumption in individual units.
Installed on individual points, such as showers, sinks and toilets, point of use meters allow for partial or full metering of individual unit's water consumption. Point of use meters are ideal for dwellings in which the water distribution and piping configuration does not allow for the installation of water submeters.
