FEATURES:

Each apartment has a water meter installed by a plumber. Each meter is equipped with a transmitter, typically installed on a nearby wall. As required, repeaters are installed throughout the community to receive signals from the transmitters, verify them, and amplify the signal to peak power, for transmission to the Receiver. The Receiver and Central Unit, typically installed in the clubhouse, decodes transmissions from the receiver and stores the meter readings (in tens of gallons) for retrieval by Energy Billing Systems, Inc.'s billing computer.
