The design of certain heating systems makes (i.e. central systems), makes installing individual submeters either cost prohibitive or otherwise unpractical. This is why we developed the T and TT systems for Gas Allocation.

By measuring the amount of time a unit runs (and is delivering heat), and measuring any applicable temperatures, we are able to collect data on individual units to determine usage. By using the manufacturer's specs on the heating unit, and the time or time and temperature data, we are able to determine the individual unit's gas usage.

Our two types of systems are the T and TT systems. The T system measures timing and is used primarily for Forced Hot Air Furnaces, Domestic Hot Water Heaters and Fireplaces. The TT systems measures both time and temperature and is used primarily for Baseboard Radiation and Fan Coil systems.
